Eureka Award 2015: Student Pham Thi Diem Thuy won the consolation prizeBy admin Posted 4/12/2016 4:42:40 PM The evening of December 27th, 2015 at Ho Chi Minh City Youth culture, the closing ceremony and award the 17th student science research Eureka in 2015 took place with 67 prizes were awarded.
This year, Eureka Award received 645 topics from students of 46 university, college, academy in Ho Chi Minh City region and neighbouring provinces such as An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Dong Thap and Binh Duong. The topic “Nom Luc Van Tien writing by superior Buddhist monk Thich Thanh Son collected and wrote” of Pham Thi Diem Thuy, the student of Faculty of Literature, the Thu Dau Mot University was one of the 82 topics that were chosen to the final round.
The result, organization department awarded 1 special prize, 7 first prize, 13 second prize, 14 third prize and 32 consolation prize to authors. The special prize was awarded for authors group Vo Lam Khanh Duy, Nguyen Xuan Gieng (University of Natural Science-Ho Chi Minh City National University) with the topic “virtual reality environment with natural environment”. Pham Thi Diem Thuy’s topic got the consolation prize.
Share feeling when participating in this prestigious science ward, student Pham Thi Diem Thuy said, “Although the result is not high, I feel very happy because of participating in a big arena and learning many precious lessons from the competition. Through process of participating in the contest, I see my research ability is limited in comparison with other schools. With the jury’s comments, I realized points that have not perfected in my topic. From that, I will have the edits and developments to finish the upcoming graduation thesis.
