The project "Applying Lean to eliminate wasting in production at Yamato Protec Vietnam Co., Ltd." by student Nguyen Van Quan, Faculty of Economics, Thu Dau Mot University is one of 20 topics belonging to the Economics group getting into in the Euréka finals and will compete in the middle of November.
The Euréka Science Prize is a prestigious award for students from universities throughout the country organized by citied HoChiMinh Communist Youth Union and Viet Nam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. This year, the competition attracted the participation of 100 universities, colleges and institutes with 2069 contestants participating. The total number of topics submitted was 858 topics, of which in the field of Economics there were 167 topics, Society and Humanities had 84 topics, Chemical Technology - Pharmacy 80 topics, Technology Engineering 77 Topics, Administration - Legal 73 topics, Information Technology 70 topics, Biotechnology - Biomedical technology 68 topics, Natural Resources and Environment 56 topics, Food Technologist 44 topics, Planning architecture building of 35 topics, Agriculture Forestry and Fishery 34 topics.
In 2019, Thu Dau Mot University sent to attend 5 topics.
