In the morning of 07/05/2018, at Thu Dau Mot University, the 15th IBM CSC International volunteer program in Binh Duong was officially started. Joined the Launch, there were the leaderships of the Departments, the volunteer units, ABV organization, and 14 international volunteers of IBM CSC, from 12 countries of America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Organized from 7/5/2018 to 7/6/2018 days, the 15th IBM CSC International volunteer program in Binh Duong aimed to contribute to the local economic development, promote the gender equality, to bring the extensive and sustainable impact to the society and community. This time, there were 4 units of the Province would receive the support from IBM: IT Center-Archive of environmental resources (Department of Environment and Natural resources), the Employment Service Center of the Province (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) , the Department of Health and Thu Dau Mot University.

Within 4 working weeks, the experts would survey the needs and gave advice, supported to enhance abilities for the units of Binh Duong Province, and advised on the large data handling from the available sources; analyzed, predicted about the job market in Binh Duong Province; Smart universities development strategy; solutions  for the connection technology, extract the output data transfer in medical establishments subordinated to the Data center of the Department of Health; Information about the environment resources...

With Thu Dau Mot University, this was the second time that the School honored to welcome IBM Delegation. In the first work in 2017, the IBM experts and the School's education experts proposed the development solutions to enhance the quality of higher education and the accomplishments were still being implemented vigorously.

Continue the achieved education efficiency, in this working, 4 specialists (Prof. Nasim Lari, Jayme Fallen, Pier Paolo Ricci, Daniel Encarnacion) would continue to support the School in the research of identifying the Smart University model and the achieved solutions; the abilities to navigate to the Smart University of Thu Dau Mot University. Besides, during the working time at the School, the specialists would take time to visit the facilities conditions, exchange, chat and give advice to students about the knowledge and needed soft skills to help students become more confident.

IBM CSC is one of the social responsibility programs of IBM, which is made from 2008 with the goal of building the next leadership approached the capacity in the global range; help to solve the socio-economic problems in the developing markets. The counseled subjects included the government agencies, small and medium enterprises, educational organizations ...  Since its establishment, the IBM CSC program has sent nearly 2000 elite employees to nearly 30 countries in the world. The IBM volunteers are from over 50 different countries and participate in the community projects in: Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
