The V2Work project aims to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese higher education systems, develop skills about entrepreneurship and employment for students after graduation, and strengthen relationships with the labor market. The project has been active in coordination with the University of Alicante (Spain) and will last for 3 years (2017-2020) with 8 work packages. In Vietnam, there are 11 units participating, including 8 universities and 3 educational organization: University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCM, Thu Dau Mot University, Tra Vinh University, Nha Trang University, Dai Tay Nguyen University, Da Nang University, Vinh Industrial University, Polytechnic University - Hanoi National University, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, AISEC Vietnam Organization.

The project will help to build and modernize employment support centers and labor market, update new career support services for students of 8 Vietnamese universities through the development of working regulations, foster and improve the quality of human resources to meet the needs of professional working in domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations. In addition, the universities participating in the project will be trained to help strengthen the relationship between universities and businesses through the development of tools and mechanisms to promote the active participation of businesses in employment and career service centers, creating favorable conditions for students to find jobs and develop necessary skills for startups.

Participating in V2Work project, Thu Dau Mot University has more opportunities for lecturers to work and experience a professional international environment. Moreover, the effects brought from the project will be complementary for the TDMU to effectively implement the mission of training quality human resources for Binh Duong and the Southern key economic region.
