Memorandum of Understanding with JungWon University (South Korea)

On 25/01/2018, Thu Dau Mot University and JungWon University conducted the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build the relationship of sustainable strategic partner to serve the scientific research activities and training of the two education Institutions.

Attended in the Memorandum, about Thu Dau Mot University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep-Rector and leaderships of Science room, International Cooperation Office of Faculty of Foreign languages, Strategic Research Institute. About Jungwon University, there were Mr. Jung Hee Taek-Vice Rector and the leaderships of undergraduate training, lifelong education Offices.

Opened the meeting, Mr. Jung Hee-Taek said, JungWon University appreciated the position and brand Thu Dau Mot University in the strength training of human resources for the society, included South Korean businesses, which were operated in Binh Duong. In the cooperation with the universities in Vietnam, JungWon University had built a strategic plan to promote bilateral education cooperation between the two Schools. Accordingly, Mr. Jung Hee Taek expressed the desire to deploy effective the Lecturer exchange programs, Student exchange, Academic exchange, Cultural exchange, and in the future, we would expand the cooperation program training in Aviation- Engineering discipline.

Speak to congratulate the cooperation of the two units, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep believed that the collaborative relationships would help the lecturers and students of the two Schools have the opportunity to exchange about culture and education. The School always creates all favorable conditions to help the contents of the Memorandum quickly being realized to bring practical benefits for both units, especially for the lecturers and students of the Schools.

Under the cooperation agreement, next time, the two Schools would promote the academic exchange program (cooperated to celebrate the seminar, talks..); exchange lecturers and students in Social work professions and Korean language Faculties in undergraduate, postgraduate training ology in the form of (2 + 2) or (3 + 1); cultural exchange between students of two Schools.

At the meeting, the Leaders of two School had the same view point as discussed about collaborative programs in aeronautical engineering-one of the strong majors of Jungwon University. Accordingly, Mr. Jung Hee Taek committed to assist Thu Dau Mot University to develop this major in the future.

From 2009 until now, Thu Dau Mot University has promoted the cooperation with more advanced educations in the world. Among of them, with South Korea, the School signed MOU with 5 universities, including: Hannam, University, Kyunsung University, Woosong University, Dongguk University and JungWon University. These collaborations have brought many opportunities for lecturers, students to approach, exchange learning. At the same time, they also contributed to extricate the difficulty of lacking of human resources with good Korean for the companies, businesses in Binh Duong and the southern provinces; opened job opportunities for students after graduation.

Jungwon University was established in 1984, the precursor was Chungbuk Daejin University. The School campus covers an area of 495, 870m2, 109.090 m2 campus with advanced facilities, friendly environment for learning and research, 70% of the campus's lush green gardens.

JungWon University is strong and focuses training in social sciences, information technology, biotechnology; health, pharmacy, business management, and international trade ... All of the courses at JungWon were evaluated by the South Korean Government and were recognized by international institutions. At the same time, JungWon also intends to nurture a new generation of leaders for the industries to meet the needs of today's humanity as bilingual professionals, training professionals and training careers, service orientation and collaboration professionals.
