With the topic “The contributions of Indochinese magazine in the process of modernization of literature, Vietnamese culture in the early twentieth century”, code: 62.22.34.0, which belonged to Vietnamese literature major, researcher Ta Anh Thu made the thesis under the science guidance of Assoc. Prof. Doan Le Giang follow the rate of progress and conducted to protect environment in the Social sciences and humanities University (National University of Ho Chi Minh City) on 29th December, 2016.

The Council confirmed the Thesis of Researcher Ta Anh Thu expressed many new points and had scientific and practical values compared to the previous researches. Through the Indochinese journal phenomenon, the Thesis analyzed and clarified the role of the press in raising the intellectual standards of the people and culture in the particular circumstance of the early twentieth century; at the first step to explain some of the native cultural phenomenon in front of the aggression of cultural colonialism; emphasized the positive aspects of the works of literature and press activities of quintessential and ethnic spirit intellectual stratum at this period.

The Council concluded, the Thesis was done meticulously and seriously with high scientific level and achieved the requirements of a good-quality doctoral thesis. Therefore, Researcher Ta Anh Thu deserved a Ph.D. degree in Vietnamese literature with 6/6 votes, which has 4/6 votes to review as outstanding rank.

Researcher Vu Thi Nhan with the Thesis about History and theory of education

On the same day, in Pedagogy University of Hanoi, Researcher Vu Thi Nhan successfully defended her Thesis with the topic “Educating collaborative skill in the role-playing games with themes for kindergarten children 5-6 years old”, code: 62.14.01.02 which belonged to History and theory of education major, under the science guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Hong Vinh and under the science guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa.

The board members confirmed, the Thesis “Educating collaborative skill in the role-playing games with themes for kindergarten children 5-6 years old”,  was the scientific was done elaborately, seriously, with scientific and practical values, met enough requirements of a Ph.D. thesis of the Education and Training Department and the training organizations; the research results of the Thesis contributed to enrich the reasoning about educating collaborative skills for children 5-6 years, with the focuses were the concept, the parts of role-playing games with themes for collaborative skills education for children, the characteristics of the collaborative skills education for children; discovered the reality of educating collaborative skills in role-playing games with themes for kindergarten children 5-6 years old in the South-East area; pointed out the underlying causes of the situation; proposed some measures of education collaborative skills in order to help teachers can educate collaborative skills for children in role-playing games with themes.

With 7/7 approval votes, the Ph.D. Thesis Council of Hanoi Pedagogy University recognized that Researcher Vu Thi Nhan deserved a Ph.D. degree in major of History and theory of education.
